A few beach photos I took on Koh Samui island in Thailand. This tropical island located in the Gulf of Thailand is one of Siam`s most popular tourist destinations. Nightlife with some beer bars can be found in Chaweng but this is next to nothing compared to Pattaya or Angeles City. Samui`s shores are quite nice, not as good as Boracay in the Philippines but close. Although there are some girls available for P4P, this place is more like a family destination and its seems popular with folks from Europe. I enjoyed my stay there but I guess I will look for less touristy places like Palawan and Mindanao in the future. Any recommendations, fellows ?
Wow Mike. That looks awesome. Is that close to Bangkok or Pattaya? I’m taking a trip to Thailand next year.

Your photos ROCK! Love the beautiful turquoise waters and the silky white sand. Give Palawan a shot. When you go I’d recommend renting a motorbike in Puerto Princesa and taking it all the way North to El Nido (a 4hr trip with your girl and your backpack on your back). When you arrive you’ll be greeted with a perfectly small and relaxed beach community. After 4 long hours, you’ll be in paradise. Spend your days with your girl island hoping for 500 pesos for 8 hours and then romantic candle lit nights on the El nido shoreline. Enjoy!
